It seems that Hollywood vampires need a new dose of blood. And it is that, the super group made up of Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry that is presented under the title of Hollywood Vampires are currently on tour in Europe. On July 18, the group had a scheduled presentation in Budapest, which had to be canceled because the Jack Sparrow interpreter was not in a condition to go on stage.
According to local Hungarian media, everything was ready for the band to play, but apparently, when they went to look for Depp in his hotel room, he was found unconscious, apparently from having drunk throughout the afternoon of that day and the night of the day before.

“What we heard was that Depp was overwrought and couldn’t even leave the hotel. We also heard that they had called a doctor to see if something more serious had happened,” the Blikk tabloid quoted “a person with information about the case.”
Just an hour before Hollywood Vampires performed at the Budapest Arena, it was shared on the band’s networks that the concert had to be cancelled.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have canceled tonight’s show in Budapest. All tickets will be refunded in full. We love and appreciate all the fans who traveled from near and far to see us grow, and we are so sorry. Our most sincere apologies”, was read in the statement issued by the band.
Hollywood Vampires had to cancel their performance in Budapest an hour before the show
This was the second time that the Hollywood Vampires had to cancel their recent tour, and also because of Depp. At the end of May, the band canceled three shows during their stay in the United States due to a broken ankle suffered by Depp. This was explained by the musician and actor in a statement: “Dear friends, I am sorry to tell you that I have fractured my ankle, which is a shame. It started out as a minor tear but somewhere between Cannes and the Royal Albert Hall it got worse instead of better.”
Following his recovery, Depp and company embarked on their ongoing tour of Europe, and while everyone expected the bad news to end Depp with a severe hangover after the Budapest incident, another concert had to be cancelled.

The group was scheduled to perform in Slovakia on July 20, but because the stage was not finished, Hollywood Vampires had to cancel the show.
“Arriving at the venue in Slovakia today to start preparing for tonight’s performance, it quickly became apparent that the construction of the facility was incomplete and therefore not safe for either the band or the general public. The band is very upset by this recent and unfortunate turn of events, and hopes to return when schedules allow”, read the statement where the band announced the cancellation of the show, ensuring that it had nothing to do with the Budapest incident and inviting their fans to the following concerts in Poland, Germany and the United States.

The concert in Poland has already taken place, causing a lot of outrage among the Slovak and Hungarian public, but also, videos of Johnny have received various criticisms due to his unkempt appearance.
