According to British ex-Prime Minister Boris Johnson, before the start of the Russian war against Ukraine, the German government called for the country under attack to be given up quickly. Johnson’s comments caused a stir today. The German government declined to comment on the statements.
“The German view at one point was that if it (the Russian attack) happened, which would be catastrophic, it would be better if the whole thing was over quickly and Ukraine surrendered,” the U.S. Channel CNN the former prime minister.
