Jordanian princess marries financier

The eldest daughter of the Jordanian royal couple married a financier with Greek roots in a televised ceremony on Sunday. Queen Rania and King Abdallah, along with other royals and the groom’s family, were present as Princess Iman tied the knot with her fiancé, Jameel Alexander Thermiotis.

Princess Iman is second in line to the Jordanian throne following her brother Prince Hussein bin Abdallah II. Her new husband works as a financial specialist in New York. The royal family in Amman announced the couple’s engagement in July.
