SANTO DOMINGO.- The political consultant Jorge Lendeborg reported that he submitted his resignation on Monday as adviser to the project of the presidential candidate of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) Abel Martínez.
In a written statement, he indicates that there were obstacles that prevented him from carrying out the tasks for which he was considered.
“It is inadmissible to work with a candidate who is his own campaign manager, adviser, strategist,” says Lendeborg, adding that “this prevents the objective of achieving a victory from being fulfilled.”
He indicated that a project without planning, strategy, methods, processes, effective communication and resources cannot advance.
“The work method does not suit me, because a project becomes quite difficult to work with a candidate who wants to be his own campaign manager, strategies and with different plans at the same time, so I understand the right thing to do is work effectively and under a single line, that is, there must be a single plan and all work in the same direction. That is why I am not willing to waste my time,” he stated.
