The official and pre-candidate for Buenos Aires head of government, Jorge Macriwent out to the intersection of the governor Axel Kicillof after the possibility of splitting the Buenos Aires elections from the national ones slipped.

This Friday, May 12, Macri was together with Horacio Rodríguez Larreta in an act where different economic relief for the people of Buenos Aires was announced, including the modification of the tariff law so that 80 procedures are free, the refund of stamp tax money to credit cards and the application of tax incentives to rent properties.

In response to one of the questions from the journalists accredited there, the mayor of Vicente López on leave gave his opinion on the possibility of separating the election at the national level from that of Buenos Aires. “No matter how many cheats they want to do, rule changes, unfold or not unfold, there is a clear and profound desire for change in Argentina“, he argued.

Centimeters from Rodríguez Larreta, who made that decision raised by Kicillof in April, generating a thunderous internal noise in the PRO, Macri added that “people know how to vote.”

In the case of the governor of Buenos Aires, he had stated that it was possible to split the elections. “That has to do with the fact that by law we have to do PASO jointly with the Nation, but in the general election our laws allow us to do it in a split way,” he explained.

“Did he say that?”: Horacio Rodríguez Larreta criticized Alberto Fernández for his statements about “psychological inflation”

Indeed, the province had arranged that the primaries be held on August 13, the same date as at the national level. However, there were no clarifications about the general ones, which triggered different conjectures.

According to the electoral calendar, the closing of the lists is June 24 and the term to decide the division of the elections is August 6.
