José Quijada achieves a new save and looks unbeatable

The reliever who has taken all the flashes in the first changes of the 2023 championship is the Venezuelan José Quijada with all his string of strikeouts, however there is an arm that has also shown great dominance coming from the bullpen.

It is regarding another native, José Quijada, a pitcher for the Anaheim Angels who has more than responded to the confidence that manager Phil Nevin gave him, fulfilling the task of coming in the final chapters of the commitments.

The left-hander has been really tight-lipped, posting an excellent 0.00 ERA in five outings, turning in as many innings (5) and giving up a hit solo to his opponents in that span. He also struck out four opponents.

Quijada has alternated between setup and closer, completing two saves following locking in the Angels’ narrow 3-2 win over the Washington Nationals tonight.

Apparently the peculiar way of pitching the native reliever is having a lot of effect at the start of the season and everything indicates that José will leave great numbers for the rest of the year.
