Linz – In Upper Austria’s ski areas, the early snow does not change the start dates and artificial snowmaking does not become obsolete, because a smooth slope can only be created with natural and artificial snow together. The season starts on December 8th for most people, December 16th at Feuerkogel and December 23rd at Dachstein-Krippenstein. Driving is already underway in Hinterstoder and on the Wurzeralm.
