Juan Guaidó presented his program Save Venezuela (+ video) in Puerto Ordaz

He blamed the government for the sanctions and that only through a free election can an uprising take place.

The leader of the opposition, Juan Guaidó, is visiting Puerto Ordaz and held a meeting with militants from various opposition parties in the church of Los Olivos.

There he presented his program Save Venezuela, in which he hopes to gather as many wills as possible and thus fight against the Government of Nicolás Maduro.

In his speech he mentioned that Maduro “is afraid of the union because he knows he is a minority; he fears a date for an election because he knows he has an expiration date».

He said this, since the ruling party mentions elections in 2024, but without mentioning a specific date.

“Those of us who want change are the majority and with unity, perseverance and discipline we are going to achieve it,” he added.

He also mentioned that the authorities “intend to normalize the tragedy, the lack of electricity and water, a pyrrhic minimum wage, migration, persecution and censorship; that is not normal. Those of us who are here are not going to get used to misfortune and as a society we cannot do it either.

He pointed out that the only person responsible for the sanctions is “Nicolás Maduro, and if the regime wants them to be lifted, the solution is simple: a comprehensive agreement that leads us to the free and fair presidential election that the whole country owes us and wants.”

“Sanctions are one of the fundamental tools that the free world has to confront the corrupt and human rights violators,” he concluded.

It is expected that this Saturday he will have a meeting with the workers of the basic companies.
