“Juarez City Trafficking Rescue: FEM’s Operation Saves Minor from Sex Trade in Motel”

Juarez City.- Within an operation to prevent and investigate the crime of human trafficking, the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Attention to Women Victims of Crime for Gender and Family Reasons (FEM) North Zone, rescued a minor who allegedly offered sexual services in a city motel.

The group made up of elements of the State Investigation Agency and agents of the Public Ministry, located the victim inside the building located on Tlaxcala street in the Salvárcar neighborhood.

In said place, the administrative and operational staff of the motel were interviewed to continue with the corresponding procedures, they were also shown and placed in the place, investigations of other people not located.

The 16-year-old girl was made available to the State Comprehensive Family Development (DIF) for the appropriate proceedings, as well as to safeguard her integrity and rights.

For his part, the agent of the Public Ministry attached to the Specialized Unit for the Investigation of Trafficking in Women, Girls and Boys, will continue with the inquiries into the case to find out if there is a commission of criminal conduct.
