Vienna/Budapest – The Austrian Judo Association has initiated disciplinary proceedings once morest Wachid Borchashvili. According to the association’s broadcast, the seventh-placed World Cup player attacked a training partner during a training course at the Olympic Center in Linz. The nomination of the 24-year-old Austrian, brother of Olympic bronze medalist Shamil Borchasvhili, for the Masters in Budapest was withdrawn by the association and the athlete was suspended. “The ᅱJV board deeply regrets the incident,” it said.
