“Juggle with a private and professional schedule”: Djokovic surprisingly canceled his participation in Miami

The 36-year-old Serbian announced this via social networks. “At this stage of my career, I’m juggling my personal and professional schedule,” Djokovic explained somewhat cryptically. The world number one failed in the third round in Indian Wells this week against Italian lucky loser Luca Nardi (ATP 123rd).

Afterwards he complained that he had played “really, really badly”. Djokovic has only played three events this year: at the United Cup for Serbia, to the semifinals of the Australian Open and in Indian Wells.
