In her first appearance on the media in 3 years, artist Julia Boutros tweeted: “To our people in Palestine, we are by your side. You occupy my heart, mind, conscience, sadness and pain every minute. Palestine will not die, the cause will not die, freedom is for Palestine.”
She added: “Here they are killing hundreds of Palestinian civilians, including children, women, and parents, every day, and the world is watching, so where will they hide? From now on, they won’t be the ones telling the story. We will narrate it, and every free human being will narrate it with us.”
She continued: “Israel has the right to defend itself. This enemy has usurped land and honor and built its dark history on killing, displacement and terrorism. An enemy that has given the right to shed our blood, is now committing genocide once morest the people of Palestine. What right are you talking regarding?”
