Surely throughout his life Julio Iglesias has received gifts of all kinds to celebrate his birthdays, but none like the one they gave this past Saturday along with his 80 candles. To commemorate this round figure, public relations Richy Castellanos has brought together a total of 465 personalities from all fields and 28 different countries in a unique video in which all of them have wished him all the best.
After a first viewing by the legendary singer, his friend asked his permission and shared the result of this project to which he has dedicated the last six months of his life. The result is worth it, as it lasts more than 3 hours and 40 minutes and in it you can see figures such as Infanta Elena, Maluma, José María Aznar, Alejandro Sanz or Rafa Nadal, among others.

The video dedicated to the “greatest Latin artist in history” begins by pulling from the archive, remembering his time at the Benidorm Festival, followed by a review of some of his concerts. Next, the spotlight goes to King Juan Carlos, who from Abu Dhabi has remembered him: “Julio, I wish you many congratulations and that you have a very happy birthday. I hope we see each other soon, I wish you all the success that you still deserve,” says the father of Felipe VI in the piece. Then Richy himself appears, accompanied by José Mota and Jesús Álvarez, who act as masters of ceremonies and officially present the video.
The other 220 minutes are dedicated to his famous friends and admirers, many of whom, in addition to wishing him the best, also take the opportunity to remember some funny anecdote. Their appearance is in alphabetical order, to avoid any possible conflict due to appearing earlier or later, therefore, among the first to appear are Alejandro Sanz, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, Andrés Pajares and the couple formed by Ana Botella and José María Aznar.
