Jumping rope is a fun game, usually associated with childhood. However, it does provide important health benefits. Exercise contributes to weight loss, as well as improving endurance, coordination and balance while strengthening muscles throughout the body. At the same time, the activity helps to define both the upper and lower muscles. This is because several muscle groups are involved in the movement”, explains physical educator Mônica Marques, technical director of Cia Athletica.
