The two drivers were picked up by paramedics and taken to Delémont hospital.
A traffic accident occurred on Monday around 6:40 p.m. between the localities of Courroux and Vicques at the height of the intersection of rue du 23 Juin and rue de la Ribe. A motorist who started from the rue de la Ribe with the intention of going towards Vicques, did not notice a second vehicle which was traveling from this last locality. Despite an attempt to avoid, the vehicles collided.
Injured, the two drivers of the vehicles were taken care of by paramedics and taken to Delémont hospital. A repairman took care of the cars that were out of order. The infrastructure department also intervened on the scene with two men to clean the road. The local security of Courroux diverted the traffic while the cantonal police made the statement of use.
