Jura: Sexual acts on children – proceedings against pastoral workers

The accused are accused of sexual acts on children and possible sexual assault. This was announced by the State Chancellery of the Canton of Jura on Monday. Previously, the church itself made a corresponding report. The actions date back ten years.

At the end of April, the church informed the office responsible for the accused regarding the ongoing proceedings. The pastoral worker taught two hours a week at a post-compulsory school. The defendant was relieved of his duties. The facts, which are now being investigated under criminal law, did not take place in the context of the lessons.
