According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, the disturbance began when a group of juveniles arrived at the store on electric motorcycles, commonly known as e-motos. Investigators detailed how the youths escalated their disruption by riding mobility scooters intended for shoppers directly down the aisles.
The situation quickly deteriorated as the riders crashed into store fixtures, played explicit music, and directed profane comments at customers and staff. Security measures prompted their initial removal from the premises, but the enforcement did not deter the group.
Here is why that matters: authorities reported that several members of the group returned shortly afterward, driving their e-motos straight through the main entrance and deeper into the store.
