Juventus announces Chesney injury
Italian club Juventus announced today, Monday, that the Polish goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczesny, will be absent from the stadiums in the coming period, due to an injury.
Juventus said in a statement that Szczesny suffered some discomfort in the left thigh in the team’s match against Atletico Madrid, at the end of the first half, on Sunday.

The club confirmed that as a result of the medical examinations conducted by the team goalkeeper, it was confirmed that he was injured at the level of the left thigh, and that he needed to rest. Consequently, he will be out of action for up to 20 days.
Juventus lost the friendly match against “Rokhi Blancos” by four goals without a response, as part of the two teams’ preparations for the new season in Italy and Spain, respectively.
It is noteworthy that Juventus will play its first match in the new season 2022-2023 on the ground, next Monday, August 15, against Sassuolo.
