Kannur: KPCC president K. Sudhakaran MP said that the reduction of the LDF’s majority in the Mattannur municipal elections and the improvement of the UDF’s position was the success of the unity and unity of the UDF workers. The results of the recent local government elections, including in Mattannur, where the UDF made progress, is an indicator of the changing politics in Kerala. Even after accepting the verdict, the increase of the UDF from seven seats to 14 lakhs in the Mattannur Municipal Council, which is described as a red fort by the CPM, is a great achievement. Sudhakaran said that despite the CPM’s attempts to subvert democracy by engaging in vote-trading and false voting, the Congress and the UDF were able to make brilliant inroads in their strongholds.
In the party villages under the control of CPM, even election activities were inaccessible to UDF. LDF was able to retain the municipality but reduced its polyma and mat is the success of the sincere efforts of the UDF workers. The workers of Congress and UDF have done commendable work which has strengthened the advance of UDF. Special thanks to all the democrats who recognized CPM’s hypocrisy and anti-people stance and voted against them.
The work of the Kannur DCC for coordinating the Congress-UDF systems in connection with the Mattanur municipal elections is highly commendable. Sudhakaran said that if we can make this message of unity more effective in the entire state, we can easily defeat our political opponents in every upcoming election.
