KAC increases to 2-0 in the ICE semi-final – Salzburg equalizes

Red Bull Salzburg equalized in the semi-finals of the ICE Hockey League. The reigning champion celebrated a hard-fought 3-1 win in game two once morest HCB Südtirol in Bolzano, overcoming Tuesday’s 0-2 home defeat. Meanwhile, the KAC scored a 4-2 win at HC Pustertal, making it 2-0 in the semifinal series. On Sunday, Klagenfurt has home advantage (5.30 p.m.) as does Salzburg once morest Bozen (6.30 p.m.).

An “empty net” goal from Clemens Unterweger 23 seconds before the end secured the KAC’s second victory. For Pustertal it was the first home defeat since February 13th.
