A great first for the French specialist in processors and acceleration cards for artificial intelligence. The Isérois Kalray has just announced its intention to buy the English software publisher Arcapix. Until now, deep tech headed by Eric Baissus had never explored the field of mergers and acquisitions in its fourteen-year history.

The file is already well advanced, the final signature should take place in the coming weeks. Paid mainly in shares and in installments over the next three years, the founders of Arcapix and their partners will share 7.6% of the capital of the French listed on Euronext and valued at 160 million euros on the stock market. The Dutch group NXP will remain the largest shareholder.
