The Kamloops Blazers bounced back from Friday’s underperformance against the Remparts, posting a convincing 10-2 win over the Peterborough Petes on Sunday.

Patrick Roy’s troupe had defeated the host club of the competition 8 to 3, Friday evening, as a curtain raiser.

The Blazers’ big guns took matters into their own hands against the Petes. Dallas Stars 2021 second-round pick Logan Stankoven had five points (one goal and four assists) in the offensive spree.

Connor Levis, Jakub Demek and Matthew Seminoff each gave themselves a three-point performance.

For his part, the hope of the Montreal Canadiens Owen Beck was cleared of the score sheet.

Avery Hayes and Quinton Pagé were the only two scorers for Peterborough.

The Petes will look for a first victory in the tournament by taking on the Remparts on Tuesday.

The Blazers will enjoy two days off before resuming action Wednesday against the Seattle Thunderbirds.

The next round robin matchup is Monday, where the Thunderbirds will face the Remparts.
