Detroit Red Wings forward Patrick Kane scored in a fourth straight game, but his team fell 6-3 to the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday night at the Xcel Energy Center.

The Michigan club is now 2-8-1 since adding the 35-year-old star player to its roster. Kane, however, is doing very well, having amassed six goals and five assists for 11 points in as many games.

In the first period, the American tied the game 1-1 with an excellent wrist shot. Other scorers for the Wings were Alex DeBrincat and Daniel Sprong.

It was in front of the net that it was difficult for the visitors. James Reimer foiled six times on 31 shots. The veteran has allowed at least five goals in his last three starts.

This time, it was shots from Marcus Johansson (twice), Kirill Kaprizov, Matthew Boldy, Marcus Foligno and Ryan Hartman which deceived his vigilance.
