The NCAA Championship Game between the Kansas Jayhawks and the North Carolina Tar Heels takes place tonight from Monday April 4th to Tuesday April 5th. The tip-off will take place early Tuesday morning at 3:20 a.m. in the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana (USA).
The No. 1 seeded Kansas Jayhawks have confidently advanced to the Finals of the NCAA Championship. In the Final Four duel against Villanova, Kansas dominated the game against the Wildcats and ultimately won the game 81-65.
The Jayhawks performed their tasks against Miami and Texas Southern with similar ease. But not every duel at March Madness was easy for Kansas. Providence and Creighton put up a close fight with the Jayhawks, but ultimately lost out. Kansas last made it to the March Madness Finals in 2012. At that time, the Jayhawks lost the game against Kentucky. Today the Kansas Jayhawks could get their fourth NCAA title.
The North Carolina Tar Heels, on the other hand, have won the title six times. The last time the Tar Heels were successful was in 2017. That year, North Carolina eliminated the Duke Blue Devils, among others. In the Final Four, the eighth-seeded Tar Heels upset Duke, retiring the legendary Mike Krzyzewski, aka Coach K.
