Kanye West applies for trademark for YEEZUS amusement park, NFT

According to reports, Kanye West, through his own Mascotte Holdings, Inc., has filed a number of trademark registrations for YEEZUS, including YEEZUS branded amusement parks, blockchain currencies and NFTs, brick-and-mortar and online stores, toys, games, sports equipment, Badges, Apparel, Bags, Household & Cosmetics. Ye first expressed his interest in building amusement parks at the Cannes premiere of Cruel Summer in 2012, saying at the time: “I want to work in the city following Grammys, I want to work in amusement parks, I want to change the entertainment experience. It’s like McQueen or Tarsem to satisfy the entertainment value of Cirque du Soleil or Walt Disney.” Apart from the registered trademark, Ye has not added additional descriptions to the above goods and services. In addition, it is interesting that he said in February of this year that he has no plans to create NFTs at this stage, and this submission seems to indicate that he has changed his mind.
