Kanye West ran out of Twitter for praising Hitler and denying the Holocaust

The owner of the social network Twitter, Elon Musk, canceled early this Friday the account of American rapper Kanye West, who currently responds to the name of Ye, for incitement to violence.

The cancellation was announced by Musk himself after the rapper posted a picture on his profile of what looked like a swastika fused with a Star of David.

“I did my best. Nevertheless, He again violated our rule against incitement to violence. The account will be suspended,” said the owner of the social network, in which the rapper’s profile already appears as cancelled.

This is not the first time that the artist has been suspended from that social network, recently acquired by Musk.

This time it happens after West praised Adolf Hitler in an interview published this Thursday on the far-right blog “Infowars”, in which he denied the existence of the Holocaust and made anti-Semitic comments.

West appeared with his face fully covered by a ski mask and his hands covered with gloves in that interview broadcast on “Infowars” by broadcaster and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.

The protagonist for years of headlines both for his music, his fashion brand or his personal life as well as for his recurring outbursts, a Kanye West more unleashed than ever has set off all the alarms in recent weeks due to a string of racist and antisemitic comments.

These comments have made the artist plost millions of dollars in contracts with shoe and clothing brands, who have canceled the agreements they had with the rapper. The Adidas brand was one of those that canceled the millionaire contract that he had to wear his clothes.

Ye was last week at the residence of former US President Donald Trump (2017-2021) in Mar-a-Lago (Florida) together with the nationalist Nick Fuentes, known for his anti-Semitic positions, at a dinner that has been criticized even by sectors of his party, the Republican.

The controversial rapper too opened an account on the Truth Social social network, owned by Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), owned by former US President Donald Trump.
