A-ha is back with a new track after a seven-year absence.
The Norwegian synth-pop legends – consisting of Magne Furuholmen, Morten Harket and Paul Waaktaar-Savoy – have released new single “I’m In” from their forthcoming album, “True North”, the long-awaited sequel to ” Cast in Steel” from 2015.
The ‘Take On Me’ singers have gone in a new direction, and to accompany the new record they have made a film of the band recording the songs last year in Bodø, a Norwegian town 90km above the circle polar.
Paul said: “With every album we rework it, to see if there’s a different way to go about it.”
The lead single carries a poignant message.
Magne explains that it’s “a song about total commitment and showing support for someone who is having trouble. True commitment is a leap of faith. Everyone knows how hard it can be. to offer unconditional commitment and support, but that’s what it takes to make everything worthwhile happen – love, friendship, change, self-improvement, careers, a better world.
