Karen Chen Xiuling arrested at Changi Airport in Prince Holding Group probe

A S$100 million asset sweep and an airport arrest have pulled a Singaporean director back into a cross-border criminal probe tied to Cambodia-based Prince Holding Group. Karen Chen Xiuling, 44, was detained at Changi Airport on Thursday, November 5, under an active arrest warrant, AsiaOne reported.

The arrest marks a fresh escalation in Singapore’s investigation into the transnational syndicate founded by Chen Zhi. Police state that Chen served as a director for several local firms beneficially owned by Chen Zhi, including Skyline Investment Management and Capital Zone Warehousing.

Investigators Trace Local Charges to False Lease Takeover Documents

Investigators point to corporate filings from September 2022 as the genesis of the local charges. According to AsiaOne and Channel News Asia, Skyline Investment Management submitted a business plan alongside a false agreement to JTC Corporation to secure a property lease takeover. Chen allegedly instigated an officer at Capital Zone Warehousing to falsify that agreement with the intent to defraud JTC Corporation.

Channel News Asia noted that police previously issued an arrest warrant for Chen in March after discovering she left Singapore in October 2025 before initial raids, residing in Cambodia until her return and subsequent detention at Changi Airport. She faces a Friday court appearance on one count of instigating another person to falsify accounts and one count of attempted cheating. Under Singapore law, each offense carries a potential prison sentence of up to 10 years, alongside possible fines.

Financial authorities continue to dismantle the syndicate’s local footprint. Since June, law enforcement issued prohibition of disposal orders against 14 properties while seizing various bank and securities accounts valued at roughly S$100 million, according to both AsiaOne and Channel News Asia. These latest moves elevate the total value of assets seized or frozen in connection with Prince Holding Group past S$700 million.

Action / Asset Category Estimated Value / Scope Timeline
Latest Property & Account Freezes 14 properties, S$100 million (US$78 million) Since June 2026

Ongoing Cross-Border Scrutiny

The wider investigation centers on the financial architecture utilized by Prince Holding Group and its network of shell entities across Southeast Asia. While local regulators target domestic corporate vehicles like Capital Zone Warehousing and Skyline Investment Management, the broader syndicate operations remain under international scrutiny.

Authorities have not yet detailed the full extent of recovery operations for the remaining assets linked to Chen Zhi’s network, nor have they disclosed whether additional extraditions or arrests are imminent as judicial proceedings against Chen begin.
