Karina, is it difficult to maintain a long-distance relationship??

At the beginning it was very hard, but we got used to it. Diego’s daughter lives in Germany, so her link with that country is very strong. But we have not achieved it alone, we are taking therapy so that this process is healthy.

Would you forgive an infidelity?

I have forgiven her at some point. The metaphor of ‘the vase that breaks even if you hit it’ is true. It is very difficult to regain trust. Now, speaking of Diego, I don’t know if she would forgive him; I think he would have to live the situation. I hope that day never comes.

You are jealous?

If someone answers ‘No’, they are lying. Personally, I wouldn’t believe him. I believe that we all have an ego or sense of belonging with people we love, and the fear of losing them leads us to a situation of jealousy. I have them under control, but sometimes they go off, ha ha ha.

Do you want to be a mom?

It’s not something I dream of, to be honest. But I am also aware that I am 37 years old and I have little time left to decide if I am going to freeze my eggs or if I want to order them. I am getting a lot of information.

What defect do you have that is difficult for you to change?

I am very critical of myself. My mind becomes my worst enemy. Also, I tend to lose patience very quickly and get angry.

What has been the most challenging role you have played?

When I played Marcela Piqueras in ‘Clave Uno: Médicos en alert’. I was 22 years old and had to look over 30. And at the same time I had to learn medical terms and relate to props. It was a beautiful challenge for the whole team.

A beauty tip?

My mother always told me: ‘Whatever you do, whatever time you arrive, always take your makeup off before bed.’ And that’s what I do. If I had to give just one, I think it would be that one.

What projects are you on now?

Until September 10 I am in the play ‘El gran fuego’ at the Teatro de Lucía. Then I’ll go to Germany to see Diego. November and December I have recordings of a film. I had to be a gypsy and live between Germany and Peru.
