A woman who has been through a lot and a man with a past. They are six years apart, but they share a feeling that protects them from the world. Karolina Gorczyca and Krzysztof Czeczot have recently been more and more willing to appear together in public. On Sunday, March 24, they hosted “Dzień Dobry TVN” on the couch. They told, among others: about professional obligations, but also about how they function in the private sphere. This is how they commented on the rumors about themselves.

When in January 2024, a photo from a joint ski trip appeared on their Instagram profiles, they caused quite a sensation. The caption included a heart. It is true that they included the hashtag “friends”, but also “love” and “together”. That left little doubt…
“We have been in a relationship for a long time. Of course, we formally ended our previous relationships. We have been living together with our children for several months, creating a happy, patchwork family with love, respect and attentiveness. Importantly, our children also live with their second parents, receiving the same amount of love, warmth and attention from them. We also had a professional relationship. We never hid our relationship, but we also never made it into celebrity news. We just don’t think it’s needed or necessary. But if you ask, we are happy to answer,” they emphasized in a conversation with Plejada journalists at the beginning of February.
Later, they began to appear together in public (including at the Empik Bestsellers gala), not sparing each other tenderness: on this occasion they often held hands, looked deep into each other’s eyes and smiled radiantly, posing for photos together. Now they sat down on the couch of “Dzień Dobry TVN” to talk about the show “Optimists” that they create together. It is supposed to be a comedy about a family that goes on an all-inclusive vacation to Egypt for the first time. There will be plenty of threads related to satisfying hedonistic needs: eating, drinking and enjoying the wonderful weather.
Krzysztof Czeczot is responsible for the script and direction. How did the idea for the entire project come about? From holiday observations, of course. Certain behavioral patterns and their universality made the acting couple decide to create a performance based on them. “While on vacation, we came up with the idea that what we see and observe should be shown in the theater. We jokingly talk about Poles, but the topic is absolutely international. The All Inclusive band does something that makes most tourists behave similarly,” explained the director.
The cast includes Hanna Śleszyńska, Karolina Gorczyca, Piotr Cyrwus and Marcin Korcz/Krzysztof Czeczot. The show will be staged, among others, on the capital’s Relax Stage soon (the premiere will take place on April 6). Later, the artists plan to go to Poland…

Karolina Gorczyca and Krzysztof Czeczot: together on stage, together in life
They both have other relationships. Until December 2013, Karolina Gorczyca was in a romantic relationship with her colleague from the industry, Wojciech Zieliński. The couple had a daughter, Maria. In 2016, she fell in love and entered into a relationship with Krzysztof Kostecki – two years later they welcomed their son Henryk into the world. In turn, Krzysztof Czeczot developed a relationship with the screenwriter of many Polish series, Jadwiga Juczkowicz. In 2019, they welcomed their daughter, Pola. But the relationship did not stand the test of time.
And when did the feeling that accompanies them to this day arise? They don’t reveal it, but most likely in 2023. Does the media attention that has been focused on them for two months bother them? They both approach it with the appropriate distance. “It is a natural part of how we function. We are public figures, we lead our own lives, we have our own experiences and plans. It’s natural to talk about such things. We make sure that our privacy, associated with a small patchwork family, stays where we want it,” declared Krzysztof Czeczot.
In turn, his partner added that combining professional and private life is both exciting and… overwhelming. How does the couple deal with emotions and take care of mental hygiene in the relationship? The recipe is simple – moderation and appropriate dosing of topics related to professional life in your free time. “When we’re fed up, we tell ourselves that we’re not talking about work today and move on to other topics. This is how new ideas are born,” revealed Karolina Gorczyca.
Interestingly, Krzysztof Czeczot revealed on the couch of “Dzień Dobry TVN” that together with his friend he is preparing… a new series for TVN! However, the details are shrouded in mystery for now.
