The prime minister is called on to personally intervene in the obscene profit on ferry tickets Stefanos Kasselakis.
In his post on social media, the president of SYRIZA cites a video of a government representative’s report on the matter to the briefing of political editors, commenting that weeks have passed since that statement.
Mr. Kasselakis makes two “observations”: “1. The prime minister was fully aware of the scam on ferry tickets. 2. “Whenever the government decides that it should intervene, it does”. That is, the prime minister does not judge that there should be an intervention in the coastal ferries now, in August, when people want to go on vacation and cannot, but… from September. “After all – by order of the Prime Minister – this is what the Minister of Shipping said.”
Following these, Mr. Kasselakis calls on the Prime Minister “to intervene personally and not to hide behind the statements of members of his government to ‘go to their villages'”. “He has the weapons to intervene. He doesn’t have the will,” he argues. He states that “Food – Fuel – Coasters are links of the same chain”. “An indifferent (or self-interested?) prime minister who sits and watches prices rise. To come later to “dispute” in general and vaguely the accuracy, saying “the country is not a banana”.
