Doha: The 5th Katara Boxing Championship will start on 15th. The championship organized by the Boxing Federation will see the best participation of boxers from the sports clubs of the country. Competitions are in youth and junior categories and open class.
The preliminary rounds of the championship will start on the 15th with the technical meeting and medical examination on the 16th. Officials informed that the semi-final will be held on 17th and the final on 18th. This season starts with the Katara Boxing Championship.
The Qatar Olympic Committee’s Beach Games boxing competitions will begin in March. Sheikh Fahd Bin Khalid Al Thani, President of the Federation, said that the Qatar Tour, Qatar Junior and School Championships will also be staged in April.
