After years of speculation, Keanu Reeves fans can finally celebrate the confirmation of the sequel to a film that included the actor in the DC cinematic universe.
In addition to being one of the biggest action stars of our time, Keanu Reeves is worldwide recognized for his participation in successful sagas such as The Matrix and John Wick, but also for fighting for many years for the continuation of Constantine that will finally reach the screen.

In Constantine, Reeves plays a detective-exorcist with the unique ability to identify angels and demons who disguise themselves as humans. The film follows the character’s story as police officer Angela Dodson (played by Rachel Weisz) seeks his help, and together they embark on a dangerous adventure to solve a mysterious case involving her twin sister, using the connections of her with the underworld.
Directed by Francis Lawrence, the first Constantine installment was a smash hit, grossing almost $231 million at the global box office. Despite rumors and fans’ hopes, confirmation of the sequel seemed unlikely – until now.

The sequel, simply titled Constantine 2, will again be directed by Lawrence, with Akiva Goldsman writing the script.
