Uijeongbu KB Insurance achieved a miraculous comeback victory against Incheon Korea Air in the second leg of the championship decision. The match is now decided in the third round.

KB Insurance defeated Korean Air with a set score of 3-1 (18-15 25-19 27-25 25-18) in the second leg of the Dodram 2021-2022 V League Men’s Championship at Uijeongbu Gymnasium on the 7th.

KB Sonbo, who achieved a balanced series record of 1 win and 1 loss, had only one win left to win the first championship game in history.

Keita Nomori (registered name Keita), the foreign main gunner of KB Insurance, showed off his ace-like appearance with 35 points in the match.

At the beginning of the first set, both teams played a tight seesaw game, but little by little, Korean Air began to gain the upper hand. Korean Air started to lead 11-7 with Jin Seong-tae’s quick attack and Jung Ji-seok’s quick-open attack and blocking success in a 7-7 tie.

In a situation where KB Sonbo was leading three points 21-18, consecutive offenses were made in the serve and attack. On the other hand, Korean Air responded with a serve and continued its momentum.

In the early part of the second set, Keita, the ‘best striker in the V-League’, performed on her own. In a situation where KB Insurance was leading 6-5, Keita succeeded in three consecutive back attacks and started to widen the score gap.

Keita scored 10 points in the second set alone, showing an attacking success rate of 60%. KB Sonbo won the second set 25-19 with ease.

In the beginning of the third set, Korean Air took the mood again. In a situation where they were leading 7-5, Kim Gyu-min’s open attack and the opponent’s room were tied to widen the score difference.

However, Keita’s scoring power exploded at the end of the third set. KB Sonbo, who was behind 24-19, made a comeback by 25-24 as Keita succeeded in four consecutive back attacks and serve goals. KB Sonbo won the 3rd set 27-25.

In the beginning of the 4th set, KB Sonbo had a crisis as Libero Jeong Min-soo was injured due to an injury, but Keita again led the mood. In the middle of the 4th set, KB Sonbo led 18-13 with an opponent’s offense and Park Jin-woo’s quick attack, eventually bringing the 4th set.
