Singer Keith Martin who was known through the song “Because of You” in the era of 2004 passed away. He was found dead at his residence in Quezon City, Philippines, on Friday (22/3/2022).
This sad news was confirmed by Keith Martin’s close friend, Sheree Bautista. Quoted from the Philippine Entertainment Portal, Sheree Bautista said that Keith Martin had died when security officers visited his condo.
It was also explained that the neighbor’s friend had complained to the condominium security officer. Because from where Keith Martin lived, there was a bad smell.
“Neighbors protested because there was a smell so they called security. The owner of the unit where Keith Martin lives was also contacted,” Sheree said when contacted. The Filipino singer and actress mightn’t hold back her tears when she told the story.
As explained by Sheree Bautista, Keith Martin has not been available for a week. So it is estimated that he died within seven days.
The body is currently undergoing an autopsy. However, no results have come out of the process.
“We are waiting for the autopsy results and he will be taken to the funeral home. I will take care of his remains,” added Sheree Bautista.
Keith Martin is known for ballads such as Never Find Someone Like You and Because of You. He also had a duet with Agnez Mo through the song I’ll Light A Candle on the album Whaddup A several years ago.
