A Kensington also announced news for its portfolio at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024. Among the big highlights is a new Thunderbolt 5 dock capable of transferring files at speeds that can reach up to 120Gbps — which is 3x the speed supported by Thunderbolt 4 technology.
According to the company, the SD5000T5 Thunderbolt 5 Dock It also features the provision of 140W of power — which is at least 40W more than the capacity of most docks currently on the market — and support for up to two external 8K monitors at 60Hz.

The SD5000T5 is expected to be launched in the second half of the year, while the SD4880P, SD4781P and SD4782P are expected to arrive in the first half of this year.
