Kenyan shilling stable, post-election developments on the agenda

At 0720 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 119.20/119.40, the same level it closed on Monday.

Markets were closed on Tuesday as it was a public holiday for Kenyans to participate in the election where voters chose the next president, legislators and other officials.

Preliminary polling results showed a tight race between the two main presidential candidates vying to replace incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta.
