Kochi: Kochi: The Kerala team for Santosh Trophy has been announced. A 22-member team was announced. Nijo Gilbert is the captain. Defender G. Sanju is the vice-captain.

The tournament will be held in Goa from October 9. Kerala will face Gujarat in the first match on October 11. Jammu and Kashmir, Chhattisgarh and Goa are also in Kerala’s group. Seven-time champions Kerala are coming to Goa with hopes of winning the title.

Sathivan Balan, who won the title for the team in 2018, is coaching the team this time as well.
