Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala is struggling to match Mumbai’s score in Ranji Trophy cricket. At the end of the first session on the second day, Kerala scored 134 runs for the loss of three wickets. Rohan scored a half-century on the mound. Kerala need 117 more runs to match Mumbai’s first innings score.
Mumbai were all out for 251 on the first day. The opening combination gave a good start for Kerala who started batting in the first innings in the morning. With the scoreboard at 46, Kerala quickly lost two wickets. Krishna Prasad scored 21 runs and Rohan Prem was out for no runs.
Sachin Baby and Rohan Kunnum took Kerala forward in the third wicket. However, Kerala also lost the wicket of Rohan who scored 56 runs. After the first session, Sachin Baby is at the crease with 26 runs and Sanju Samson with 19 runs.
