Ministers and people’s representatives from Kerala led by the Chief Minister have officially invited Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stal to the public defense held in Delhi on February 8 against the central government’s neglect and retaliatory measures against Kerala. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan reached Chennai today and handed over the invitation letter to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin.
During the meeting, Stalin said that the central government’s policy of financially squeezing the states should be unitedly opposed. Stalin was informed about the details of the petition filed by Kerala in the Supreme Court in this regard.
The central government is withholding the share that the state is entitled to. The Modi government is taking a negative approach on all issues including scheme allocation, tax allocation, assistance to reduce revenue deficit and GST compensation. And denying the right to borrow.
