Kevin Durant hopes to make the All-Star Game on February 19

Absent for three good weeks now because of a sore knee, Kevin Durant is starting to consider a return to the courts. For the moment, no precise date but one objective: to participate in the next All-Star Game on February 19.

It’s been since… 2019 that Kevin Durant has not played the all-star game. Yes, 2019. The fault of various injuries which have each time prevented him from participating in the big party in February, even being captain for the past two years. So we understand that KD wants to go back to the All-Star Game this year.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski ofESPN, this is the objective for the Durant campwho is encouraged by the way the rehabilitation process is going so far.

We will carefully monitor the small updates to come concerning Easy Money, to see if a return by the All-Star Break or even before with the Nets is possible or not. As a reminder, it’s been since January 8 and a game in Miami that KD did not play, because of a sprained knee.

Without him, the Nets have had their ups and downs. The highs are this series of four wins in six games under the impetus in particular of a Kyrie Irving unplayable in money-time. The lows are this jerk off cashed in Boston yesterday and the four consecutive losses straight after KD’s injury, giving an overall record of 4 wins – 7 losses since the Slim Reaper joined the infirmary. Direct consequence in the standings: Brooklyn sees the podium move away (1.5 games behind Philadelphia, third) and its pursuers (1 game ahead of Cleveland, fifth) get closer.

So it would be better if he didn’t drag the Kevin around too much…
