Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health, assumes the new ministerial formation before the House of Representatives today.
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar left the Ministry of Higher Education, to devote himself to the duties of the Minister of Health, where he was in charge during the previous period.
The activities of the emergency session of the House of Representatives, headed by Counselor Dr. Hanafi Jabali, began today, Saturday, to consider the new ministerial reshuffle, which includes 13 ministerial portfolios, in the presence of the majority of parliament members.
The General Secretariat of the House of Representatives had invited the members of the House of Representatives to hold a session today, Saturday, headed by Counselor Hanafi Jabali, despite the parliamentary leave.
And the text of the invitation stated: “In accordance with the provisions of the internal regulations of the Council, it was decided to call the House of Representatives to convene in an emergency session at 12 noon on Saturday, to consider an urgent matter.
