Actor Dmitry Kharatyan had a chance to play in several projects together with the late Leonid Kuravlyov. However, the moment came when the star of the film “Ivan Vasilyevich Changes Profession” made a firm decision to end his creative activity. He refused invitations to the cinema, and therefore one of the directors turned to Kharatyan with a request to convince the artist to agree to a role in a new project.
However, the conversation between Dmitry and Leonid Vyacheslavovich did not bring the expected result. Kuravlev was adamant and noted that following he buried his wife, he lost interest in life and cinema. In addition, the actor was dissatisfied with the methods of work that were established on television.
“He complained that he was deceived by TV people all the time,” Kharatyan said in an interview with correspondents of the publication “7 days“. It turned out that Kuravlev told a colleague how he once gave a big interview regarding his friend Vasily Shukshin, but in the end everyone in the program was “spoiled”.
