Kicks, punches and insults: Canadian players got into a fight with Honduran fans in the locker room tunnel

San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

The Canadian players showed their badness losing after the defeat they suffered (2-1) against Honduras at the Metropolitan Olympic Stadium, for the third day of the Concacaf Nations League.

In the last minutes of the match, the Canadians staged a tremendous row over the expulsion of defender Alistair Johnston after a violent foul against Omar Elvir. Guatemalan referee Mario Escobar showed him the direct red card.

Then, after the final whistle of the game, those of the ‘Maple Leaf’ returned to fight with the Hondurans and also against the referees.

The anger of the Americans continued in the locker room tunnel, where they kicked and hit the gates, they also insulted fans who approached the place where the Canadians were passing.

Grupo OPSA’s lens captured how soccer players Sam Adekugbe and Stephen Eustáquio went berserk against Honduran fans.

The Canadians left without commenting, nor did Canada coach John Herdman, who got into a fight with Honduran coach Diego Vázquez at the end of the game.
