Kuwait; Iraq Kuwait authorities intensified the search for the kidnappers. Last day, ISIS terrorists kidnapped two people who came from Kuwait in Iraq’s Anbar province.
A Kuwaiti citizen and a Saudi citizen residing in Kuwait were captured by the terrorists. Various Iraqi newspapers and news channels reported the incident. The terrorist group abducted the two who left Kuwait for hunting in a Land Cruiser vehicle through the desert when they reached Anbar Governorate under the control of Iraq.
It is not clear what their needs are. Immediately after the incident was reported, Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Salim Al Sabah spoke to Iraqi Foreign Minister Fahad Hussain on the phone and assessed the situation.
Diplomatic sources in both countries have repeatedly reiterated that they will go to any lengths to find and return the abductees.
