‘Kim Yong-min TV’ YouTube video capture
It has been confirmed that Kim Jun-hyuk, a candidate for the Gyeonggi Suwon-jeong National Assembly of the Democratic Party of Korea, made a remark alluding to a sexual relationship between former President Park Chung-hee and military comfort women during the Japanese colonial period on a YouTube broadcast by Kim Yong-min, a member of Nakomsu.
According to YouTube on the 29th, candidate Kim appeared on ‘Kim Yong-min TV’ hosted by YouTuber Kim Yong-min, a former member of Nakkomsu, on February 3, 2019. The theme of the day was ‘Grandma Kim Bok-dong and Japanese soldier Park Chung-hee.’
In this broadcast, Candidate Kim said, “The person called Park Chung-hee… “That person would also have had sex with comfort women during the Japanese colonial period.” When the host asked, ‘Really?’, Candidate Kim said, “There must have been a possibility. Right? “Because there is no clear information regarding that part,” he answered.
Then, host Kim Yong-min said, “(Former President Park) also had students when he was a teacher at Mungyeong Elementary School… “He said. Candidate Kim then said, “At the time, I thought he was a young student because he was an elementary school student, but elementary school students were such an old story back then… “There were quite a few older students who came to learn how to write, so there was definitely a connection with them.” It was claimed that former President Park had sexual relations with students even when she was a teacher.
Candidate Kim also used sexual language regarding his constituency in this general election.

In 2021, he wrote a book called ‘Jeongjo’s Letter to Lee Jae-myeong’, showing the similarities between Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myeong and King Jeongjo of the Joseon Dynasty.
Candidate Kim received the nomination after defeating Rep. Park Gwang-on, who was classified in the bottom 20% in terms of legislative activity, in the Democratic Party primary.
