Vienna – In Austria, the kindergarten offering has been expanding for years, but at the same time the facilities are struggling with a lack of staff and sometimes poor conditions. A group of kindergarten initiatives such as the Austrian Elementary Education Network (Nebö) and Educare as well as kindergarten providers such as Caritas and Kinderfreunde launched a petition on Monday calling on the government to make improvements.
