His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, left the country this morning, at the conclusion of his visit to the country, during which he headed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s delegation to the summit of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), which began last Thursday. In Expo City Dubai.
At the forefront of bidding farewell to His Majesty at the Presidential Airport in Abu Dhabi were His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and His Highness Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior.
His Majesty was also bid farewell by His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the country, and a number of officials.
