King Mohammed VI congratulated the national under-23 football team, crowned African champions 2023 and qualified for the Paris-2024 Olympic Games.
His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, sent a message of congratulations to the members of the national football team for their coronation in the Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations and their qualification for the next Olympic Games Paris 2024.
In this message, the Sovereign affirms having followed “with immense joy and pride” the victory of the national under-23 team in the final of the African Cup of Nations (CAN-2023) which Morocco hosted and their qualification for the next Olympic Games “Paris 2024”.
HM the King takes the opportunity of this new continental feat to express His warmest congratulations to the members of the national football team for this title, the first of its kind, and which confirms, once again, the strong presence of national teams and clubs at the continental and international levels, welcoming the efforts made by all those who contributed to the achievement of this African feat, in particular the players, the coaches, the technical, medical and administrative staff, as well as the president and the leaders of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.
The Sovereign also expresses, on this happy occasion, his pride for the fine performance of the Atlas lion cubs during this championship, as well as for their great technical qualities and their strong spirit of patriotism which they have shown and which won the admiration and esteem of the passionate public who followed the different phases of this continental football event hosted by the Kingdom of Morocco, known for its warm welcome, its great hospitality and its good organization.
