It’s April 10, 2022, and today is when Kingdom Hearts celebrates its 20th birthday. On this occasion, Square Enix celebrates the 20 years of the first title during a big special event taking place in Tokyo.
The fans present were thus able to preview the trailer for Kingdom Hearts IV :
This new opus will take place in the modern world of ” Square ” or Sora will once again have to fight dark forces. This trailer also reveals a gameplay sequence, and players will find a dynamic action game system.
In addition, the end of the trailer confirms the return of Donald and Goofy, faithful companions of the series.
Release date and platforms
If you are curious about the release date of Kingdom Hearts IV, know that for now this has not yet been revealed. Also, we don’t yet know which development team is behind the game, but it’s a safe bet that Tetsuya Nomura is still at the head of the project!
